Haley Klassen I heard your music in a short film & had it stuck in my head but didnt know it was you until a friend made me a art piece with your lyrics & told me to listen to your song - then I found out it was THE song!! Ive been hooked since.

Matt Schwerin I think my old played with these guys in Buffalo a long time ago. They were good. Then I came across their name somewhere and checked this album out and it is good. Favorite track: The Kid Who Broke His Wrist.
Robert Puentes

Robert Puentes Super fun. Love this album. Favorite track: Everything In Twos.
Rodrigo de Sá
Rodrigo de Sá thumbnail
Rodrigo de Sá I just choose Hell Is Warm as favourite track, because it's the opening track of the album and forced me to listen to the rest. The album looks like it gets better from track to track. You don't really need a favourite track from Sidekicks. Just like them all. Favorite track: Hell Is Warm.

Track Name: Jesus Christ Supermalls
yeah right you can't be right
to everyone alive
to every other eye you find inside the grocery
you're severed like some seasonal organic wit
you're leveled like the leaves you left cultivated
your id is like times you thought time was your own
an after
an after didn't help
an after
an after isn't hell or new

yeah right you can't be vogue magazine opposed
and still be laughing at those jokes
beautiful told me so
and so what if Cindy said you kissed I'll list them all
one at the lake
two at jesus christ supermalls
who could call me
in the pub I don't have a signal
and you could love me
when love means simple

and when an after
an after didn't help
an after
an after isn't hell
or new when all that humans are doin
is just being uncomfortably human
when the same rain that gives life movement
makes us sad

an after
an after didn't help
an after isn't hell
or new when you knew everything
is tragically tied chemically
a finger and its diamond ring
an after
an after
Track Name: Deer
is it crime?
is it crime?
what was stolen wasn't mine
call me dear
call me your dear
but darling it isn't clear
if I'm the one in the headlights
or on the side of the road
the one in the headlights
or on the side of the road
I'm afraid you'll choose

is it fall?
is it fall?
we unravelled like a psalm
call me dear
call me your dear
but darling it isn't clear
if I'm the one in the headlights
or on the side of the road
the one in the head lights
or on the side of the road
I'm afraid you
I'm afraid you'll choose
I'm afraid you
I'm afraid you'll choose

am I the one in the headlights?
or on the side of the road?
the one in the headlights?
or on the side of the road
or on the side of the road
or on the side of the road
Track Name: Summer Brings You Closer to Satan
Summer was singing 'dreams' and '…loving fun'
Summer was singing both their words at once
Summer was seeing her past loves
showing up on our table bottled up
I said 'you shouldn't call it a vision quest
just cause you haven't eaten dinner yet'
you wanted your tile ceiling
to not be what you're seeing
waking up
I wanted my nerved head
to be a different head
waking up

woke up expecting your eyes to be there
instead I saw teeth of some demon in your hair
and maybe if this bed could talk
I think it'd say to get the fuck off
is it easy to be honest
when you're always feeling godless?
or is it hard to hear a conscience
when the ringing isn't stopping?
and when you want your tile ceiling
to not be what you're seeing
waking up
I wanted my nerved head
to be a different head
waking up

we're just like a track sprinter
we'll run until we get injured
we're just like a mirage
find drink and then we're long gone
we're just like a first chapter
we'll do all the explaining after
we're just like your apartment
we'll end right back where we started from

you wanted your tile ceiling
you wanted floors and beaming
up in flames and to go unrecognizable
